Last weekend in the Japanese city of Kawasaki hosted the annual festival “Kanamara Matsuri” festival of the Steel Phallus

The Japanese carry on their shoulders a portable altar in the shape of male sex organ in the temple Kanayama during the festival “Matsuri Kanamara”, Kawasaki.

Kanamara Matsuri the annual festival of fertility. It is held in Kawasaki. The center of the celebration is the Kanayama Temple (the Temple of the Penis). The main festivities fall on the first Sunday of April.
