Last weekend in the Japanese city of Kawasaki hosted the annual festival “Kanamara Matsuri” festival of the Steel Phallus

The Japanese carry on their shoulders a portable altar in the shape of male sex organ in the temple Kanayama during the festival “Matsuri Kanamara”, Kawasaki.

Kanamara Matsuri the annual festival of fertility. It is held in Kawasaki. The center of the celebration is the Kanayama Temple (the Temple of the Penis). The main festivities fall on the first Sunday of April.

In most of these States, that is called the traditions adopted in the family of manners, norms, attitudes and customs that are passed from one generation to the next. They may vary depending on place of residence, customs and views. Some of them we gladly accept and ready to adopt, while others, in turn, cause confusion or even fear.
